About

About Parent House.

A small studio that builds websites for local businesses and keeps them running, so the people who use them never have to think about it.

We started building websites for people close to us because the off-the-shelf options never quite fit how they actually work. A pest control company doesn't need a generic booking widget; it needs quotes, routes, and invoices that talk to each other.

So we build the whole thing, host it on our own servers, and stay on the hook for keeping it running. You get one point of contact when something needs changing, and a studio that already knows your site.

How we work

Built with you, then looked after.

  1. 1

    We talk it through

You tell us how the business runs today: the paper, the texts, the spreadsheets. We figure out what the site should take off your plate.

  2. 2

    We build it with you

You see it early and often. Nothing launches until it fits how you actually work.

  3. 3

    We keep it running

Hosting, renewals, backups, updates, and fixes are on us. You get a flat monthly fee and one point of contact.

Questions people ask

Is there an upfront cost?

No. We don't charge to build. You pay one monthly fee that covers the build, hosting, and upkeep, plus the outside services your site uses (domain, email, texting) at cost.

Who owns the site?

You do. The domain is registered in your name, and if you ever want to move on, we'll hand over the code and a copy of your data.

What if I need changes later?

Small changes and fixes are part of the monthly fee. Bigger additions we'll talk through first, and we'll tell you if it changes the fee before any work starts.

Who do you work with?

Small businesses, churches, and nonprofits, mostly through referrals. If you found us another way, send a request anyway and we'll see if it's a good fit.
